With extensive experience in the production and postproduction of feature films, shorts, documentaries, and television series; to date, Vanessa has completed more than 130 feature-length films, shorts, and television series.
Born in Mexico City, Vanessa Hernández began her career in 1997, in the production management/coordination of feature-length films, such as: No One Writes to the Coronel (1998), by Arturo Ripstein, Innocent Voices (2004), by Luis Mandoki; A Marvelous World (2005), by Luis Estrada. In 2005, Hernández was named Director of the Short Films Division of the Mexican National Institute of Cinematography (IMCINE), coordinating dozens of short films in 35mm. In 2011, she co-founded the company, E Post, specializing in post-production coordination. In 2024, she launched Postmark Films, a new postproduction supervisory services company that brings with it her accumulated experience in cinema production, coordination, supervision, and postproduction.
